Engineering Experience

January 2025 – Present

Prototype Engineer

Additive Engineering Solutions · Akron, OH

  • Take ownership of prototype projects from concept through delivery, balancing performance, quality, manufacturability, and schedule across design, fabrication, and testing.
  • Reduced internal machining costs by developing a small-scale CNC workflow for hundreds of carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer destructive test samples, optimizing work sequence, machining quality, and efficiency.
  • Turn concepts into fabricated and tested components for advanced manufacturing applications, with 90% of tooling serving the aerospace sector.
  • Develop and validate LFAM processes, materials, and print strategies, providing experimental evidence to guide manufacturing decisions.
  • Work across engineering and manufacturing to resolve technical challenges, implement design and process improvements, and document build evaluations for continued development.
May 2023 – August 2024

Product Engineer Co-op

PCC Airfoils LLC · Minerva, OH

  • Recouped $250,000+ in materials by leading a co-op project that returned lost, on-hold, and unprocessed scrap parts to production.
  • Identified process leaks and inconsistencies in high-volume investment casting and worked with cross-functional teams to support corrective actions.
  • Brought findings and process improvement recommendations to engineering and operations leadership, connecting shop-floor analysis with decisions about production.

Education & Leadership

Expected Spring 2027

B.S. Mechanical Engineering

The University of Akron · Akron, OH

  • Minor: Business Administration.
2023 – Present

President

National Association of Engineering Student Councils (NAESC)

  • Lead executive operations and strategic direction for a national organization spanning 40+ universities, taking responsibility for priorities that extend across schools, regions, and committees.
  • Connected engineering students by helping plan and execute 12 campus conferences nationwide, each serving 35–200 students.
  • Turned losses into net profit over two years as VP of Finance by reducing costs, increasing billables, and bundling expenses.
  • Direct and mentor executive and regional leaders, coordinating cross-functional teams to carry national initiatives from planning into execution.
  • Connect governance, financial strategy, and program execution; report organizational performance and strategic updates to the Board of Directors and member-school leadership.
2022 – May 2026

Vice President

Engineering Student Council · The University of Akron

  • Worked with a 12-member executive board to improve engagement across a community of 3,000+ engineering students.
  • Turned STEM outreach plans into coordinated events by organizing logistics, volunteers, schedules, and responsibilities.
  • Supported council operations through communications, documentation, recruitment, and executive meetings, connecting planning with the coordination needed to deliver events.

About Me

I’m a mechanical engineering student and Prototype Engineer who enjoys turning ideas into parts you can build, test, and improve.

Born and raised in Akron, Ohio, I’ve been curious about how things work since middle school. At Additive Engineering Solutions, I work with large-format additive manufacturing, experimental builds, and materials validation. One of my favorite challenges has been developing a small-scale CNC workflow for hundreds of test samples—finding practical ways to improve machining quality and efficiency while reducing internal costs.

I bring that same problem-solving mindset to student leadership. As President of NAESC, I help lead an organization representing engineering students across more than 40 universities. My work has included helping deliver 12 campus conferences and, during two years as Vice President of Finance, turning losses into net profit through cost reductions, increased billables, and bundled expenses.

Along the way, I enjoy helping others bring their ideas to life through 3D modeling and printing. Outside of engineering, you’ll usually find me on the golf course, exploring the outdoors, or trying a new tool—with another project already in mind.
